HOW TO COOK PERFECT RICE ON STOVETOP | NO A RICE COOKER
LAY HO MA everyone! As an asian person, I've lived off using my rice cooker for AGES but sadly my rice cooker retired recently. I thought the world was going to end because I no longer could make perfect, fluffy, delicious rice! Luckily, if you join me in this episode I will teach you how to make perfect fluffy rice on the stovetop. All you need is a saucepan (and some rice and water of course). This method may take some practice, but if you follow the instructions exactly, you should have amazing cooked rice with nothing sticking or burnt at the bottom of the pan. This is what I call skill level - ASIAN...

Ingredients:
- 1 cup rice
- 1 cup water

Directions:
1. wash 1 cup of rice in cold water. wash and strain about 3 times until the water is fairly clear
2. add 1 cup of water to your washed rice
3. bring the water up to the boil
4. right when it reaches boil, turn it down to just above low
5. give it a good stir, and place on the lid
6. let it cook for 10min
7. take off the heat, and let sit for 10min
8. fluff with a fork, and you are finished!
